Blending & Braiding Funds

to Support Home Visiting

Prevent Child Abuse New York/New York State Home Visiting Coordination Initiative (HVCI) is excited to release an update to the Blending and Braiding to Support Early Childhood Home Visiting in New York Guide, originally produced by Sparks Policy Institute for the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) in 2014.

This version of the Guide includes new information about the home visiting landscape in New York State, available funding streams/opportunities, and case study examples of successful partnerships specific to NYS . It is a companion to Blending & Braiding Funds to Support Early Childhood Education Programs (2021), released by the New York State Council on Children and Families.

In addition to the document, PCANY has developed a video training to accompany the content of the Guide, accessible on the HVCI YouTube channel.
